I have used this Curly Q wire for years and I continue to find new uses. Most recently I used it on my Christmas cards and packages. You can make it any shape you want. Wrap it around a pencil, remove, and you've got a fun spiral shape! Love it! Can't wait to share it with others! Check it out in my "destash" section of my Etsy store if you're interested: https://www.etsy.com/listing/118224294/curly-q-decorative-wire-silver-or-gold-5

Mini Hangers! So cute!
I had an idea based off a Christmas ornament my sister made for me many years ago. Each year I hang it on my tree and think "why don't I make something similar since I LOVE this ornament so much?". So here I am, decades later, making hangers! Go figure!
Since taking these pictures, I have advanced the hanger to include clips for hanging your favorite Christmas card, photo, a quote, anything!!! I will keep you posted!

New Survey!
I am always grateful for my Etsy shop customers! As I continue to grow, I am always looking for feedback. Recently I created a survey to get input from my buyers. The survey is short and will only take a couple of minutes. Simple questions, simple answers.
If you make a purchase, I will send you the link. Your feedback is soooo valuable! Thank you for taking the time to help me out! I'll continue to apply your feedback and suggestions to make your shopping experience the best it can be!

Christmas Cards, First Batch!
I was inspired by some Washi tape and decided to started making Christmas cards today. It's amazing how one element can get the creative juices flowing. The reindeer tape at the bottom and the colorful tape at the top are part of K & Company's Christmas line. LOVE them! I had a scrap of decorative cardstock that looked like a flag and I decide to run with it. That scrap inspired the main focal point on these cards! Love the bling and candycane twine too! Ok... I'm finally getting into the Christmas-craft spirit!
A version of the small, vertical card is available in my Etsy store in a 12-pack (perfect to add to a package or plate of goodies!). Also... I will be including samples of my cards with each purchase until I run out! Start shoppin' and it's yours!
Snowflake Garland, Baby Blue
It's time for snow to fly in my neck of the woods so I thought it was time to create something to represent the season! Here it is! This snowflake garland was fun to make and I especially love the tassels on each end! Each snowflake is double-sided so it can hang in a window and look great from either side. Each snowflake is blue or a patterned blue paper embellished with Crystal Glass, glitter, and bling. The tassels are adorned with silver sequins (wish I had a good picture of them, darn it!), and I was thrilled to see how it made them glimmer and pop! For sale in my Etsy store if you're interested - I'll include a gift card too (part of my fun Christmas card collection! Hope you'll check it out in my store.)

Mini Album, Winter 2012
Mini albums are so much fun to make! This album is for sale in my Etsy shop but I plan on making one for myself too! I'm going to fill it with inspirational quotes, as they have been instrumental for me in 2012.
This 5.5" x 3.5" mini album features graduated pages with a little bling on each. The front features 3-D effects including a glittered snowflake, 3 "buttons", and '12 with lots of rhinestones!
The back of the album has a removable page that can be decorated on both sides (do you prefer polka dots or turquoise lines?).
If you're interested in ordering one of these albums, please let me know. I make them in various sizes, any color, and different themes too!

Dad's Personalized B'day Card! Used a "wobble" (see link)!
Once again, a personalized card that was so much fun to make! This one is for my Dad. He wanted a deer "bleat" call can for his birthday and hunting adventures. What I realized is that it's a version of the old fashioned cow cans we had as kids! Turn them upside down and they moo! Dad's is a little bit more sophisticated (hence the comment on the inside of the card). http://www.bobwards.com/PRIMOS--The-Orginal-Can-Deer-Call-176
Personalized Cards - A Favorite!
Making a card, with a theme, for a specific person has become one of my passions! This picture is of my Mom, who didn't want her picture taken. Well much to her dismay, I kept it and created this card. It was so much fun creating the bubble, "I can't face another birthday!". Also, she loves birds so I made sure I included a few (thanks to my Cricut!). A "Happy Birthday" stamp ("Stamps of Life") was the perfect finishing touch. So glad I could bend the stamp to make it compliment the arch of the branch! Fun! Happy birthday Mom!

Mardi Gras Flower Cards Now Available in My Etsy Shop
I love winter but I think I've got Spring fever! I saw these photos from last season and felt the urge to create cards for my Etsy shop.
My garden provided this beautiful floral photo (Helenium - Mardi Gras)! When you see nature at its finest, you have to preserve it! That's exactly what I did with these 3.75" x 2.75" photo cards. I left them blank on the inside for a personalized message.
Check out my Etsy shop to see these listings.

Christmas Cards 2011 ~ Very Few!
Each year I enjoy making and sending Christmas cards. It's unfortunate, & due to the advances in technology, that more and more people don't send actual cards. A holiday hello is most likely found in an e-mail or on Facebook. Well, I like to actually receive a card in the mail and hold it in my hands! I like to display it for all of my visitors to see!
This year I planned early by buying card-making supplies in Oct. or early November. I work in retail and after decorating 4 or 5 trees for the store, I kind of got burnt out early on the festivities! So there I sat at the beginning, then the middle, then the end of Dec. working on Christmas cards. I didn't make many but I was able to send them out to family and a few friends (sorry if you didn't receive a card this year!). Maybe next year will be different!
