Blue Ribbon!

At the end of last year, I posted pictures of a small metal pail that my mother handpainted.  Recently she entered it in the local fair.  She won a blue ribbon!  How exciting!  Congrats mom!

Recently I told you about a store, Birds & Beasleys, wanting to buy my cards!  Well, they did (just got the check!) and I can't wait to see what the future holds!  My mom sent me a recent article, "Hitched to a Train", featuring Birds & Beasleys.  It was so fun to see the store featured and to know that they are doing well in this recession.  Hope you have a chance to read it!
